Japan’s latest trend! Visiting a cat cafe at Akihabara

Have you ever visited a “cat cafe”? Lately, cat cafes have become very popular in Japan. So, what is the “fuzz” about?

“Cat Cafe MOCHA Akihabara” is a cozy log house style cat cafe with many types of cats. When we visited the cat cafe, the cats welcomed us and curiously checked our camera equipment. We had a lot of fun playing with them and watching them doze off.

Of course, there are some rules. They ensure the felines don’t get stressed by human visitors. Hugging them is prohibited, and some cats don’t like to be touched or petted. It’s crucial that both sides, cats and humans, have a relaxing time while respecting each other.
The highlight of the cat cafe is the “meal time” twice a day. Seeing the cats lined up in a row enjoying their meal is too cute.
If you are curious, be sure to visit “Cat Cafe MOCHA Akihabara” for some cat therapy!
