Highlights of Kitamaru Garden
“Mt. Momiji” (Momijiyama) is the most beautiful spot for taking pictures of fall leaves. The area is located on the west side of Kitamaru Park. Including the popular Yamamomiji type, approximately 230 maple trees create a red and yellow autumn leaves tunnel!

Creamy latte and exquisite pudding
When visiting Kitanomaru Park, you have to check out the fashionable “10 DIXANS Kudanshita” cafe, which is a 5-minute walk from the Tayasumon gate of Kitamaru Garden.
10 DIXANS’ cafe latte is super creamy with a mellow taste. It’s the perfect blend matching every type of meal, from sweet desserts to savory snacks.
The menu features a lot of “food with a drink” set options. You can choose not only black hand-drip coffee and tea but also their great latte! There are two popular toast sets, one is sweet brown sugar toast and the other one is ham cheese. Both toasts are ideal for a light meal.
Also, the pudding is excellent!
Pudding with a lot of eggs inside, vanilla beans aroma, and unsweetened cream as a topping. All of this balances the bittersweet caramel sauce perfectly. The pudding has a slightly firm texture, and once you start eating, you won’t be able to stop!

Highlights of Hibiya Park
Completed in 1903, Hibiya Park is Japan’s first Western-style modern park. The old ginkgo tree that rises beside the Hibiya Matsumotoro Restaurant is colored in bright gold, and the fallen leaves create a thick yellow carpet, making it a wonderful photo spot.
In addition, the autumn colors of the trees surrounding “Kumogata-ike Pond” (the “cloud-shaped pond”) are stunning. It’s one of the most popular spots for autumn leaves in the park. With lots of benches around the pond, it’s the perfect place to enjoy the leaves and relax in the autumn sun. If the weather is fine, head to this beautiful park!

Latte using only “Geisha” specialty coffee
“Delivering the best cup of coffee to all customers directly from our farm” is the motto of “GESHARY COFFEE Hibiya”, which is a 3-minute walk from the Yuraku Gate of Hibiya Park. Geisha is recognized as one of the finest (and most expensive) coffee varieties in the world. The company grows its coffee beans at its own farm. Lately, one of their coffees won 2nd place at CUP OF EXCELLENCE COSTA RICA 2021!
This cafe is the perfect place if you are into trying out new types of coffee and you may even find the perfect coffee match for you!
When placing an order, you can choose from several types of coffee and you will get a card with information about the coffee farm and taste. I had the cafe latte called “Honey Blackberry” which tasted really sweet and had a fruity aftertaste. Really impressive!
