It was a gloomy and rainy day when I visited “Gallery SATSU”. I sat at a counter table where a large window faces the famous cherry trees of Chidori-ga-fuchi and sipped an aromatic herbal tea. Watching the people outside walking by in the rain was surprisingly relaxing.
“Gallery SATSU” displays and sells the works of craft artists from Japan and overseas. You should walk around the gallery and take a closer look at various works that are displayed on uniquely shaped bookshelves, or read art-related books which you also find on the shelves along the wall.
“Gallery SATSU” is a relaxing place with a great mixture of art, books, tea and of course the beautiful nature in front of you. Springtime is an especially beautiful time to visit the gallery since the cherry trees are in full bloom just outside the windows, but I assure you, this cafe and gallery is always a wonderful place to visit regardless of the season!
