A night surrounded by Japanese comic books “MANGA ART HOTEL, TOKYO”

If you are a manga fan, don’t you ever dream of being able to read as many Japanese comics as you like? “MANGA ART HOTEL, TOKYO” is a unique concept hotel where you can spend the night in a great location surrounded by comic books.

The hotel reception is on the 5th floor.

“MANGA ART HOTEL, TOKYO” is located on the 4th and 5th floors of the stylish “Kanda Terrace” building which is located in a very deep “otaku” and easy-access location. It’s just a short walk from Akihabara, Japan’s sanctuary of anime and manga.

On the floor for male guests. The floors are accessible to all guests during certain times, so you can freely pick and choose the books you want to read.

This hotel is divided into a male guest floor and a female guest floor. Each floor has white comic book shelves as well as dormitory beds with curtains for privacy. It’s like a capsule hotel – but with manga! Literally, you spend the night IN a bookcase surrounded by great masterpieces. What a baffling and attractive space!

The ceiling lighting is very soft and calming.

The beds are simple. You get just what you need. Each bed has a small security box and a power outlet.

The hotel has a collection of about 5,000 carefully selected comic books of world-famous manga artists. Another highlight worth mentioning is the huge number of Japanese manga in English. When you spend a night at this hotel, you will make many discoveries for sure. Of course, you can also buy the works that you read and liked!

Thanks to the manga introduction cards (in Japanese AND English), you can easily find your new favorite manga!

“MANGA ART HOTEL, TOKYO” is a very quiet, calm and clean space. The hotel is very reasonable. If you stay at this hotel, you might actually not be able to fall sleep until the early morning hours, because you will continue reading comics all night… Nevertheless, being surrounded by such a large number of comic books you can be sure to have a precious art experience that you can’t get anywhere else!
