Have you heard of manga cafes? It’s a cafe where you can read Japanese comics all day. It’s like being in heaven since besides choosing from thousands of mangas, you can also use the internet, enjoy a meal, and so much more. For this article, we visited a very special manga cafe in Akihabara. Let’s explore the Japan-themed manga and internet cafe “Nagomi Style Cafe AKIBA”!

“Nagomi Style Cafe AKIBA” is a manga and internet cafe inspired by Kyoto’s traditional inns. When you enter the store through its mystic wooden door, a colorful Japanese world unravels right in front of you!
The interior of the shop, the staff uniforms and so on… everything is Japan-themed. They even have a red arched bridge with no actual use – just for the fun of it. I love this cafe!

When you visit the cafe, first of all, you decide how long you want to stay and choose your preferred room type at the reception. Since the cafe is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you can stay overnight using the “Night Pack”. My recommendation is to choose a tatami room. It’s a Japan-themed cafe after all, right?

You can bring soft drinks (that are available for free at the drink bar) into your room, read comics, and order meals. “Nagomi Style Cafe AKIBA” has an extensive meal menu with really cheap lunches and affordable snacks. You can spend hours in this peaceful setting!

Be sure to visit “Nagomi Style Cafe AKIBA” for the craziest and “Japanesest” manga cafe experience of your whole life! Recently, this cafe was used as a location in the popular Netflix series “Queer Eye: We’re in Japan!” (Episode 3)! That means you HAVE to go, right?
